Racerens farver og bemaling er dælme flotte :woohoo: , men for mig er det bekymrende, at selve formen på den Sauber, for mig mest af alt ligner en Jordan fra begyndelsen af 00’erne 🙁 . Men det er måske ikke sikkert, dette er den endelige form, når sæsonen starter.
Forhåbentlig vil Ferrari nu også gøre en seriøs indsats på alle de andre tekniske punkter, for at hjælpe Sauber væk fra ”Niclas-Kiesa-pladsen” :huh:3. December 2017 at 9:50 #31939Troels Nielsen

Alfa Romeo – Sauber’s C37 explained

Mark Hughes looks at the key points of the Alfa Romeo Sauber C37Like Red Bull, Sauber has opted not to take up the full permitted width of the sidepods, implying a significant reduction in drag. The radiator openings are much smaller than those of last year’s car.
The front suspension is mounted high, with extreme extensions upon the wheel hub to get the upper wishbone up out of the airstream. This was done last year on the Mercedes W08 and Toro Rosso STR12, but this is more extreme.
The horizontal guide vane at the side of the cockpit is mounted atop the side impact structure. It is not clear from the angles of any of the pictures whether this side impact structure has been used to comply with the 75-degree bodywork sweep-back requirement – as with last year’s Ferrari – but it would seem likely. This should allow the car a better combination of good airflow with compact dimensions.
________________________________________The suspension layout has enabled the sidepod radiator inlets to be mounted down very low (the exact opposite of last year’s Ferrari and this year’s Williams). What is also apparent is that the inlets themselves are split – there is a secondary inlet above the side impact structure and horizontal guide vane.

The start of day three of 2018 Formula 1 testing has been delayed as snow blanketed Barcelona.
After cold and wet conditions limited F1 teams’ running on Monday and Tuesday, forecast snow hit overnight ahead of day three.
Circuit officials cleared the track, but snow continued to fall and appeared to be getting heavier as the morning went on.

Magnusen har lige kørt hurtigere end de tider han satte i Q og GP sidste år.
Så nogle gør det hurtigt.

Alfa en synes meget stabil,bortset fra at de kan køre af banen.
Alfa er oppe på 105 omgange og Leclerc, kan måske nå nogle flere inden der lukkes.
